Going to your high school prom is something that everyone really should do at least once. No matter how much you might dislike your high school, it's still worth it to go to a dance with a date, or your friends if you don't have a date, and have a good time dancing.

As for preparing for the actual dance, if you don't really care about it, then by all means spend as little money as possible for everything that you need. For girls however, your prom makeup will give away how much you actually care about the dance. If you decide to put a good deal of makeup on, then you probably care about it a lot and if you don't put on as much, well, it doesn't necessarily mean that you don't care, but you probably don't care as much.
